Corned beef: Diced.

Sauerkraut: Drained and rinsed.

Swiss cheese: Shredded.

Russian dressing: Thousand Island works as well.

Mayonnaise

Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, caraway seeds: The caraway seeds are optional.

Rye bread: Sliced. Choose a dense rye bread that can hold up to the casserole's moisture.

How to Make Reuben Casserole

Prep:

Start by heating your oven to 375°F and grease the inside a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Make Russian Dressing Sauce Mixture:

In a medium bowl mix together the Russian dressing, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and caraway seeds if you're using them.

Set sauce aside.

Assemble

Place about half of the sliced rye bread at the bottom of your greased baking dish.

On top of the bread, add a layer with about half of your corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese. Spread half of the Russian dressing mixture you made earlier over this layer.

Repeat with another layer of all those ingredients again, ending with a big handful of Swiss cheese sprinkled over the top.
