I am Jenny, the face behind Gather in my Kitchen.

I am a wife as well as a mom to three boys and find that our kitchen is where we spend a lot of time. Some days it feels as though I never leave between breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

There is that saying that the kitchen is the heart of the home and it's definitely true in our home.

We spend a lot of time in our kitchen cooking and baking and sitting around our kitchen table eating meals and laughing.

Growing up, I found that to be true in my house as well. I baked and cooked a lot with my Mom and sisters. We were always joking around and laughing as we made food.

My hope is that you will come to this website and "gather in my kitchen" with us. Sip a cup of tea and try out some new recipes.

I've found a lot of people ask me for my recipes throughout the years. A lot of my best recipes are in my head and I don't use exact measurements, I just use what my family likes and what tastes good. I am figuring out exact amounts and writing them out so anyone who wants to can make them as well.
