Heat butter in a small sauté pan over medium-low heat.
Crack an egg into the pan, season with salt and pepper to taste. Let cook.
Toast the English muffins. Once toasted, place a slice of cheese on each bottom half. If available, melt cheese in a toaster oven or air fryer for 30-60 seconds.
After the egg cooks for 2-3 minutes, flip it, then cook for about an additional 20-30 seconds or until it's cooked to your liking.
Assemble the sandwich by placing the cooked egg and bacon on the cheesy muffin bottom. Cap with the top half of the muffin.
Repeat the process for the second sandwich.
