These Italian sausage biscuit cups are the best on evenings when you don't feel like making a lot for dinner. It requires minimal effort, yet is quite tasty. Kid pleaser recipe.

Ingredients

16 oz. package refrigerated jumbo flakey biscuits
1
pound
ground Italian Sausage
1
cup
marinara sauce
1
teaspoon
garlic powder
1
teaspoon
Italian Seasoning
1
cup
mozzarella cheese
parmesan cheese
optional
Instructions
Split each biscuit in half and press down into the greased cupcake pan. (there should be 16 rounds)
In a pan over medium heat, brown the Italian sausage until it is no longer pink.
Stir in the marinara sauce, garlic powder, and Italian Seasoning.
Spoon the meat mixture into each biscuit.
Top with mozzarella and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and biscuits start to brown.
Serve hot with more sauce for dipping.
