Instructions
Preheat skillet or griddle on medium-low heat. Lightly grease with butter.
In a shallow dish, combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together.
Add eggs, one at a time to flour mixture. Making sure to whisk the lumps out. Stir in eggnog, making sure to scrape the bottom of the dish to incorporate all the ingredients together.
Dip a slice of bread in egg mixture, then flip so mix coats both sides of bread.
Place the slice of bread covered in egg mixture onto your griddle. Do the same to another slice of bread if there is enough room on the griddle.
Cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 2-4 minutes, then flip bread over and cook the other side. You can add in a dollop of butter when flipping over.
Once done, move French toast to a plate and continue to cook the rest of the bread pieces following steps 4-6.
