Leftovers

Cut up stuffed waffles.

These special Belgian waffles are best when they are fresh, but you can save leftovers for later.

You can stick them in the refrigerator, either in plastic baggies or on a plate with some saran wrap over the top. They will keep in there for about 3-4 days.

If you want to store them for longer, you can freeze them. To freeze, place them in an airtight, freezer safe container is a square of parchment paper between each layer.

How to reheat leftovers

If you are wanting to reheat leftovers, place them in a single layer in a toaster oven or on a baking sheet in the oven and reheat at 250Β°F until they are heated through, about 10-15 minutes.

Tips

Make sure to only add a small amount of the cream cheese mix filling. If you add too much, it will run out the sides. Just place a small dollop in each quadrant.

The waffle mix recipe I used was supposed to produce 12 4-inch waffles. This amount only made 4 stuffed waffles.

While baking, make sure not to open or remove the center tongs.
