Strawberry Shortcake Fluff
This Strawberry Shortcake Fluff is an easy and fun dessert that everyone will love.
It’s made with fresh strawberries, angel food cake, and vanilla pudding, all mixed together for a sweet treat.
This no bake dessert is perfect in the spring or summer.
You can serve it right away or chill it for later – either way, it’s sure to be a hit!
Ingredients

Milk: We use whole milk for it’s creamier taste, but you can use any milk you have on hand, including skim or plant-based options like almond or oat milk.
Vanilla pudding mix: We just use a mix from the store, but if you want, you can also make vanilla pudding from scratch!
Whipped topping: Make sure the whipped topping is fully thawed before using it to get the best texture.
Fresh strawberries: Use ripe, sweet strawberries for the best flavor. Be sure to slice them just before adding to keep them fresh and juicy.
Mini marshmallows: I like the size of mini marshmallows in this.
Angel food cake: Fresh angel food cake works best, but store-bought will also do if you’re short on time.
Crushed graham crackers: You can either crush by hand (or using a rolling pin) or a food processor.
Graham crackers for dipping: These are optional, but they’re perfect for scooping the fluff.
How to Make
In a large bowl, mix together the milk and vanilla pudding mix.
Let it sit for 2 minutes to allow the pudding to thicken slightly.
Add the whipped topping and gently fold it into the pudding with a silicone spoon until fully combined.
Next, add the sliced strawberries and mini marshmallows to the bowl, folding them in carefully so they’re evenly distributed.

Once everything is mixed, gently fold in the cubed angel food cake until it’s well combined with the other ingredients.

Finally, sprinkle the crushed graham crackers on top for a bit of crunch.

Serve immediately with graham crackers for dipping, or chill in the fridge until you’re ready to enjoy it.
Tips & Tricks
Here’s some tips for making this strawberry shortcake fluff:
Use pre-made angel food cake: To save time, use a store-bought angel food cake instead of baking your own.
Don’t stir: Never stir this after making the pudding, it will flatten it and not make it so fluffy, only fold.
Make it prettier: You can save extra sliced strawberries and angel food cake cubes for topping at the end to make it prettier.
Top with chocolate chips: Add a handful of mini chocolate chips or drizzle some chocolate syrup on top if you want.
Make ahead: You can assemble everything the night before and refrigerate, saving time on the day you plan to serve it.
Customize with other fruits: Swap strawberries for blueberries, raspberries, or peaches for a different spin.
Leftovers/Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
