Reuben Sliders
Reuben Sliders are a fun and easy twist on the classic Reuben sandwich.
With layers of corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing, these sliders are perfect for a quick meal or a party.
The buttery topping makes them even more delicious, and they’re sure to be a hit with everyone.
Ingredients
Hawaiian Rolls: These soft, slightly sweet rolls are the perfect base for sliders.
Corned Beef: If you can, go for deli-style corned beef.
Swiss Cheese: Choose a good-quality Swiss, or you can even mix it with Gruyère for a sharper taste.
Thousand Island Dressing: If you like a bolder flavor, feel free to add a little extra dressing for more zip.
Sauerkraut: Make sure to squeeze out the excess liquid from the sauerkraut to avoid sogginess.
Butter: Melted butter helps give the sliders a golden, crispy top.
Parsley: Fresh parsley adds a little color and a mild, fresh flavor to the butter topping.
How to Make
Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly coat an 8x11 or 9x13 baking pan with soft butter.
Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and arrange the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
Spread a generous layer of Thousand Island dressing over the rolls.
Add half of the corned beef, followed by the sauerkraut and Swiss cheese.
Layer the remaining corned beef on top and place the top halves of the rolls to complete the stack.
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and parsley.
Brush this butter mixture evenly over the tops of the sliders, making sure they are well coated.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, or until the sliders are golden brown and crispy.
Remove from the oven, serve warm, and enjoy!
Tips & Tricks
Extra sauce: You can add an extra layer of Thousand Island dressing if you like.
Squeeze sauerkraut well: Make sure to squeeze out as much liquid as possible from the sauerkraut to avoid soggy sliders.
Butter topping variations: Mix in garlic powder, onion powder, or even poppy seeds with the butter for added flavor.
Leftovers/Storage
Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
To reheat, wrap them in foil and bake at 350°F for 10-15 minutes until warmed through.
