Favorite Dipping Food

We have several things we love to dip into this crab dip. Here are some of our favorite:

  • tortilla chips
  • cucumbers
  • buttery crackers
  • baguette slices
  • cherry tomatoes

Leftovers

If you have leftovers, move the crab dip to an air tight container. You can store leftover crab dip in your fridge for 5-7 days in an airtight container.

You'll find the flavor gets better after being in the fridge for a day or two.

Crab Meat

You might be wondering what type of crab meat you need to use in this crab dip. I have "canned crab" as the ingredient. Use what you can find. So, you can use lump crab meat, jumbo lump crab meat, or imitation crab meat.

If you have access to it, you can even use fresh lump crab meat.

Each one will have a slightly different crab flavor, but they will all be very similar.

Alternatives

If you want to make this crab dip with a little kick, mix in a couple drops of hot sauce.
