This fun dip is perfect for after school, Halloween parties, or pretty much anytime.

It just uses a few easy to get ingredients that kids (and adults) love!

What is Caramel Dip Good With?

Caramel dip is good with apples, graham crackers, pretzels, Teddy Grahams, wafer cookies and gingersnaps.

What apples are best for dipping in caramel?

Our favorite apples to use are granny smith (the tartness is a great contrast to the sweetness of the caramel) as well as gala and fuji apples.

Leftovers

If you end up with any leftovers, you can store it covered with plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.

Tips for Making the Best Caramel Apple Dip

  • If the caramel is too hard, you can soften it by letting it come to room temperature or heating it in the microwave (if it came in a plastic container, make sure to move it over to a non-plastic microwave-safe container first) for a few seconds.
  • If you don't want your sliced apples to brown, you can soak your fresh apple slices for a few minutes in a water and lemon juice bath. Use about one tablespoon of lemon juice to one cup of water.
