Ingredients

Ingredients: Hawaiian rolls, chicken, green onions, cheese, blue cheese dressing, and buffalo sauce.

Dinner rolls: Choose soft, slightly sweet rolls to balance the spicy buffalo sauce. Sweet Hawaiian rolls work really well for this recipe.

Shredded chicken: Rotisserie chicken is a great shortcut for this recipe, saving you time and adding a nice flavor. You can also cook your own chicken if you prefer.

Buffalo sauce: Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to match your preferred spice level, you can use store bought or homemade Buffalo sauce.

Blue cheese dressing: If you're not a fan of blue cheese, ranch dressing can be a good substitute.

Pepper jack cheese: If you like it extra spicy, pepper jack is perfect, but you can substitute with mild cheddar if you want a less sharp flavor.

Butter: Melted butter brushed on the top of the rolls gives them a golden, crispy finish.

Use rotisserie chicken to save time and add great flavor. Just shred it and you're good to go.

Adjust the spice level by using more or less buffalo sauce depending on how much heat you like.

Add extra toppings: Top with crumbled bacon, jalapeños, or extra cheese for added flavor.

Skip the baking dish: If you're short on time, you can bake these on a sheet pan for faster prep.

Use slider buns instead of rolls for individual portions that are easier to serve and eat.

Freeze for later: Assemble the sliders, wrap them tightly, and freeze. Bake from frozen when you’re ready to eat.
