Air Fryer Granola

We love granola in our house - especially when making some parfaits with yogurt, berries and granola.

This homemade granola is super easy to make and tastes delicious too!

It uses oats, maple syrup, and cinnamon, all ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. It delicious with yogurt, on top of fruit, or even by itself.

Ingredients

Ingredients: light brown sugar, vanilla, coconut oil, salt, cinnamon, maple syrup, and oats.

Old fashioned oats: These are the best choice for granola because they give a hearty texture.

Maple syrup: This adds a natural sweetness.

Coconut oil: It helps bind the ingredients together.

Light brown sugar: This adds a touch of caramel flavor and also helps the granola clump together.

Salt: Just a pinch is all you need to bring out the flavors in the granola.

Cinnamon: It pairs perfectly with the oats and syrup.

Vanilla: Using pure vanilla extract makes the granola taste even more delicious!

How to Make

Preheat the air fryer to 250Β°F.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the old-fashioned oats, maple syrup, coconut oil, light brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla.

Mix everything together until the oats are well coated.

Tips & Tricks

Mix-ins: You can add in your favorite nuts, seeds, or dried fruits after cooking.

Batch cooking: Double or triple the recipe to have more granola on hand for quick breakfasts or snacks throughout the week.

Adjust sweetness: Feel free to reduce the maple syrup or brown sugar if you prefer a less sweet granola.

Watch the cook time: Keep a close eye on the granola as it cooks, since air fryers can vary in heat and you don’t want it to burn.

Cooling time: Let the granola cool completely before storing to prevent it from becoming soggy.

Use parchment paper: If you don’t have foil, lining the air fryer basket with parchment paper can help with cleanup and prevent sticking.

Leftovers/Storage

Store leftover granola in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.

For longer storage, you can freeze it; just place the granola in a freezer-safe bag or container and remove as much air as possible before sealing.
